Last month we reached out to our customers to get opinions on what it takes "go live" on Facebook, and to our surprise, we discovered only 50% of them are going live. This shocked us because we know there is a direct correlation with increased sales and our customers that are live selling!
Turns out, the businesses that aren't using live selling in their mix, just aren't sure where to begin. Smartphones are affordable, produce quality video, and are quite literally, in everyone’s pocket. No fancy camera required!
Lights are needed for capturing good photography, and can also highlight specific areas of the product for effects. Halo or Ring Lights in particular are popular.
Stabilize your video with a tripod and free up some hands to show off your product.
Keep it clean and simple with a clutter free backdrop. You can even diy this with fabric or utilize an attractive and clean wall. This will eliminate visuals that might distract too much from the customer’s shopping experience.
Have an extra hand on deck so that you can have someone that can act as a clerk, hand you inventory, or help you engage with your audience.
This was also often mentioned as a must have tool in the toolbox for going live. It saves countless hours in invoicing later.
